Welcome! I'm glad you decided to stop on by.
I'm a very busy bee! If I'm not working I'm chasing kids. If I am not chasing I'm being chased by kids. So when I do have extra time I like to spend it reading, writing, painting, listening to the radio, and watching movies.
I work with traditional watercolor, gouache and traditional colored pencil. I also have experience with Corel Painter, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop.
Some techniques I would recommend to any young aspiring artist would be:
Take the time each day to sketch. Get a sketchbook and just doodle. Just doodle to your hearts content. Sometimes your best ideas will come from this book. Make sure to paint in watercolor, finger paint, oil paint, explore with chalk, and get out the markers and colored pencils. Whatever you can get a hold of will help you discover your own style and talent. It will take time to develop your own style, so experiment and don’t forget to have fun!
